Vanishing Glaciers

• Glaciers are gigantic sheets of ice so big and heavy that they flow slowly downhill under their own weight.
• The glaciers in Glacier National Park are melting because of climate change – Earth is heating up, largely because of human activity.
• We can try to limit the effects of climate change by saving energy wherever possible.
