Its name is the pebble toad and its crazy skill is that it’s a master escape artist.
Unlike most other toads, the pebble toad can't hop and its slow pace makes it vulnerable to predators like this tarantula who is looking for its next meal.
The two will soon meet at the top.
Don’t be fooled, the toad hasn’t fainted!
By tensing its muscles, it’s turned itself into a little bouncing ball that looks just like a tumbling pebble.
This dramatic escape doesn’t cause it any harm, and after a successful landing the pebble toad simply dusts itself off, ready to bounce another day.
